Have you ever watched ants work? I know most of us try killing them with Ant Killer the minute we spot them in our yard! They can be very interesting...
How focused and dedicated they are. You don't see many ants playing around...they are born with a purpose!
They only have a 45-60 day span to live, no wonder they are so busy....they have a lot to do in such a short time!
An ant uses it's long antennas to touch, smell, and to sense danger.
They have six legs...two to carry food and objects, and the other four to walk, unless of course they are not carrying anything, then they will use all six powerful legs for travel.
They can carry up to 20 times their own weight. I have often seen them carry huge objects and wonder how they were able to do it...Determination maybe?
Each ant has 250,000 brains cells. A human has 10,000 million, so a colony of 40,000 ants has collectively the same size brain as a human. No wonder I have seen them carrying Doritos and popcorn....they are smart enough to know it's good stuff!
These little guys get a lot done in a days work. They are born knowing their "job", and do it till the day they die.
God created us for a Greater Purpose.
After being "Re-Born," God gives us jobs to do.
To bring others into our nest and tell them about salvation and His goodness.
He gives us the wisdom and strength to do so.
We should all take lessons from the little ant. Focus, dedication, determination, strength, the ability to sense danger and to work for the good of the colony till death for our common goal...Heaven!
