How Important Is Your "I Do"?

Marriage Vows...how sacred they are.

"To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness or in health, to love and to cherish till death do us part." 

This is a promise we keep to our spouses and to God..."until death", those are very strong words, and we shouldn't take them lightly.

Through the good times, as well as the bad. The happy times and sad, angry and mad. When your broke or just won the lottery. Through illness, surgery, hospitalizations, cures and miracles.

The ups and downs aren't easy to adjust to...but "With God all things are possible." Sometimes our problems may feel bigger than we are...and most of the time they are, but never to BIG for God! 

We try to fix our problems on our own instead of leaning on the Lord, that's were the word "The Big Bang" came into affect!!

We make such a mess sometimes of our own lives...He has to straighten it. We are so impatient...wanting everything fixed right this very moment, so we meddle, and cause bigger problems.

If we could only learn to ask God for guidance in our marriages, they will become stronger.

Many times we start praying for our spouse...FIRST!! Because we see "nothing" wrong with who we are! Try starting with yourself, asking God to help you understand, to have empathy and compassion for each other...to be slow to anger and fast to forgive.

We are the bride of Christ.

Through the good and bad, happy and sad, flat broke and rolling in the dough, sicknesses and good health...anything the world or devil attacks us with!

Our vow to God is as precious as our marriage vows to our spouse.
I will forever be yours God, no matter the pain, heartache, and trials I may encounter. God give me the strength to stand through it all...
"Till Heaven, Do Us Unite."
