Job 1:21-22 reads...
21. And said, naked I came out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.
22. In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.
I'm sure we all love hearing or reading the very middle of the 21st verse...."The Lord Gave!!"
And we wince when we read on..."The Lord taken away."
We love getting blessing's and our own personal prayers answered by God, that makes our lifestyles a bit more comfier...that's normal.
But we most always blame the devil when something goes wrong!
Asking, "What's happening here, what's going on, what did I do to deserve this?"
Not realizing right away that God is working on us or someone very close to us...sometimes He can only get our attention when we are in "need".
Job didn't question God, he realized right away, that God gives and takes.
And if you read on, God takes and gives back more abundantly.
While Job was waiting...he prayed, worshipped and continued to be faithful. Nowhere in the scriptures did I find where he set around feeling sorry for himself or wanting others to feel sorry for him, or bad mouthed God or the devil!!
We all say God works in mysterious ways...so let Him do His work, take a load off. The scriptures says...He will never leave you nor forsake you, He will always be by your side.
Whether your low in the valley or high on that mountain...He's holding your hand, knows what you need and will always lead you in the right direction...no matter what your possessions are!
