We will only do as much as we allow ourselves to do!
If we want to do something badly, we will make a way- No Matter What!
And for the rest~ We make excuses!
Lord, give us "The Want To!"
Give us a burden to go the extra mile...even when we don't FEEL like it, even when some one DIDN'T do it for us.
Give us the strength to go the distance.
How richer our lives would be if we got out of our daily routine, went out of our way to tell someone of Jesus, to give someone a helping hand, or just call someone- to show them you care and are thinking of them.
We are so busy with our everyday life, we don't "make" time to do the work of God anymore...
Help us to understand you are coming back very soon.
We don't have much time to reach the lost, we are all so worried about...
My Quiet Time...My Personal Space...what do "I" want, what do "I" need...what everyone else should do for "Me- Me- Me!!"
The world has us so tied up with ourselves sometimes...we don't see others hurting, needing or longing. It's all about "Us!"
I don't think when we step up to the pearly gate, the Lord's going to say,
"I am so sorry no one reached out to you"...I think He may say,
"Who did you reach out to- regardless of what they "didn't" do for you?"
