The day after Thanksgiving has always been a rush, and from here on into Christmas will be more of a fast pace life for everyone.
Town echo's the sounds of screeching tires and honking horns.
Stores are buzzing with the sounds of talking and singing toys on display, Christmas music over the intercom to spice up the shopping experience, debit machines and cash registers getting their yearly workout.
As we rush around thinking of everyone we have to buy a gift for, Christmas cards we need to send, food we will need to prepare and guest we will be inviting over...
We need not to forget the Reason for the Season!
Sometimes we get caught up in the commercialized part of Christmas and forget about the "REAL" reason we celebrate.
This season brings on many emotions...happiness, cheerfulness, kindness one to another, but it also brings on depression, sadness and pressure.
Society has commercialized Christmas, pressuring you to buy everyone you ever knew a gift. And of course, society has trained everyone they have to be in a certain price range or they are not good enough!
I have heard of people purchasing Christmas on credit, putting themselves further into debt or using their "bill money" for the month of December just to be able to purchase gifts so they can feel apart of the season.
Thus setting them back financially for the upcoming year.
Slow Down and Remember the REAL reason this coming Holiday, don't let society pressure you.Don't break the bank for this beautiful holiday...Do what you can, and let God do the rest!
